Tax Collection


The City Center, 201 N Main Street, Brillion Hours for Tax Collections are as follows:

Monday - Thursdays: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Fridays: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
All first installment or full amount payments are due to the City of Brillion, 201 N. Main Street by the end of January.  All second installments are due to the Calumet County Treasurer 206 Court Street, Chilton WI, 53014 by the end of July.

Taxes & Assessments

Tax Payment Details

First installment of taxes are due to the Brillion City Treasurer on or before January 31.

Taxes are collected by the following methods:
  • In person:  Taxes will be collected at the Brillion City Hall at 201 N. Main Street by cash, check or credit card.
  • Drop off:  A drop off box is available 24 hours a day inside the main entrance to the City Hall.
  • By Mail:  Check or money orders only, sent to:

Second installment of taxes are due to the Calumet County Treasurer on or before July 31.  The second installment should be dropped off or mailed to:
       Calumet County Treasurer

       Chilton, WI  53014

Assessment Details

The City Assessor is contracted, appointed annually by the City Council.  By statute, the function of the Assessor's Office is to place values on all taxable property to assure the fair distribution of the property tax burden.
