Community Programs

National Night Out
National Night out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police, other emergency services, and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

Ride Along Program
It is the desire of the Brillion Police Department to provide those that are interested with the opportunity to ride along with our officers to show participants the day-to-day operations of a patrol officer. Our goal is to promote positive community relations with this unique educational experience of what it is like to be a police patrol officer. To schedule a ride along, please contact the Brillion Police Department at (920)756-2221.  Prior to approval of any ride along request, a background check of the participant will be completed, and a Waiver/Request Form will need to be completed by the participant.

School Resource Officer
The Brillion Police Department works in partnership with the Brillion Public School & Reedsville Public School District by providing a School Resource Officer (SRO).  The SRO works in cooperation with the schools in a proactive manner to deal with youth concerns before they become youth problems. Working in partnership with the schools provides an opportunity to implement programs aimed primarily at prevention of delinquent behavior through education, communication, and understanding among the school, youth, police, and the community.

The School Resource Officer assigned to Brillion is Captain TJ Bastian. The SRO assigned to Reedsville is Officer B. Bastian. See our Contact Us page if you need to contact an SRO directly.
